Message-ID: <46bc7ec20705272049n5622d343h34285bd17a2625c2@mail.gmail.com> Hello All: It seems that Stautzenberber has changed there directions page from asp to php. I noticed this by clicking on the directions link from talug.org. I have updated the website such that the directions link goes to http://www.sctoday.com/directions.php rather than http://www.sctoday.com/directions.asp =) However, I've also noticed that the page that the "Subscribe" link links to is a little outdated. It reads: "TALUG is a collection of computer enthusiasts... There's nothing you have to do to become a member, but subscribing to this mailing list is the best way to join the community..." I think that we should up date the second phrase above to read something like: "To review our membership procedure please refer to our constitution. However, our list is not restricted to the membership community and everyone is invited to join and share in the discussion, responsibly." What do you guys think? Also, I've tried poking around the website and can't seem to find this page. If we decide to make the proceeding change will we have to contact someone at uniqsys to do it or are we able to access the /mailman/listinfo/talug directory at www.uniqsys.com? -Adam From jasonmbechtel at gmail.com Tue May 29 23:10:59 2007 From: jasonmbechtel at gmail.com (Jason Bechtel) Date: Tue May 29 23:11:06 2007 Subject: TALUG-board: talug.org .... broken links fixed and need fixing... Thanks for fixing it, too. To manage the various lists, go to the list-info page and then scroll to the bottom where it says " administrative interface (requires authorization)". Follow that link and you will be prompted for the list admin password. I'll send those passwords directly to the new officers rather than posting them to a public list. ;o) Once inside the administrative interface, you can update the descriptive text for the list. You will also want to update "mailing_lists/index.php" in the main website directory. It corresponds to http://talug.org/mailing_lists/ which can be reached by clicking "mailing lists" in the left pane of the website.
